Here's an interesting 1939 Coleman Canada 500 stove and pot container vehicle stove used by the Canadian army during WW2 and found in the 'rations box' on armored vehicles, scout cars, gun tractors and some transport trucks. Stoves turn up occasionally but seldom in original pot container, lid for the pot container is a small frying pan. Aluminum pot container might be found in European surplus stores and measures 10 1/2 x 10 1/2 x 7 1/2 inches.
This is the marking used until 1950 to mark Canadian military equipment including some stoves and lanterns.
Here is the Canadian military marking on a 500 stove fount base ring just below the 'E' in MADE;

Re: Coleman Canada 500 military vehicle stove
Thank you Ken
Very nice stove, always nice with some fact around it.
That was a interesting history about the 500 stoves, have just seen them as an older 502 stove (which I happen to have one) before.
Best Regards
Joakim
